For the last 6 weeks I have had a young lady come to my door 3 times a week, and a minute later she was showering me, and often washing my hair, then helping me dress and put on my knee brace etc.
A couple of ladies came twice but mostly they were different each time. But they were all competent and caring. One was a few minutes late, apologised that she had to stop for petrol, but mostly they were exactly on time. And they would hang out washing, make my bed with clean sheets, whenever I asked.
And the administrators were good too, would try very hard to fit in times around my appointments, and responded quickly if I wanted to change the time owing to an urgent appointment.
I heartily recommend this service.
A society that cares for its senior citizens is a civilized and enlightened society. The aging happens on its own without any prompting from our side! It is an issue of mind over matter…if you don’t mind, it doesn’t matter!
